How do you manage congestive heart failure? Trying to figure out how to minimize symptoms. What medicines work for you to minimize symptoms.

For me it was Slow K. Dr prescribed Lasixs and and spiractin only and not to take slow K and that seems to do the trick.
I have had echo cardio gram and e k g and stress test blood work and the cardio doctor had never said I have it was wondering if anyone on here has and how it was diagnosed and just because someone had swollen ankle occasionally does not make mean they have it some of the meds the doctor put you on for the heart suchas metopolo canothers can cause swollen ankles norvacs is another one that does that

So I have one cardiologist here on the East Coast telling me I have heart failure, and I had to see a cardiologist on the West Coast who tells me that I do not even have heart failure. Then, I have my PCP telling me that heart failure is not a diagnosis, only a symptom. What does one do with these differing opinions?
