Has Anyone Had An Implantable Device For Congestive Heart Failure (not Afib)? How Did It Work Out?
Yes.. I had a CRT-D implant device put in 2 years ago..so far no sap from device thank god..that's the scary part..I did show from the reading i was retaining fluid from right lung..took 40mg of lasix and so far so good thank god..every so often i do feel slight chest pain..it comes and goes..I do have shortness of breath if i walk to much...but dealing with heart disease is not easy..just pray and know god is always with you...take care..
I have CHF and take 40mg Lasix 2Xs daily. Dr watching a leaky valve talking possible mitraclip. But praying. Scheduled to have 2nd Cardioversion. Last one 2003 and Dr feels we need to try again due to my heart rate being too high with 75mg of Metoprolol 2Xs a day. Having a TEE first to make sure no clots hiding in that area. 😇🙏
My blood pressure would drop off to the point where I would loose conciseness but it would only last for a couple of seconds and then I would come out of it, I had a pacemaker implanted about 9 years ago and it totally took care of the problem. I still get a little light headed sometimes when I get up to fast but I think that is expected.
