Do Others Struggle With Not Eating Sweets?
A MyHeartDiseaseTeam Member asked a question 💭

Since my CABG surgery and my peripheral artery disease diagnosis , I have overhauled my diet, but still struggle with wanting sweets . I eat fruit, but sometimes I just eat a piece of dark chocolate .
How do others deal with their sweet cravings ?

Similar to you! Chocolate now and then wont harm unless we eat large amounts daily. It may just be the guilt!🙂

I have no will power and if my sugar is low enough I do still eat some chocolate or hard candy. I'm hooked on Tootsie Roll Pops!! I know it isn't good for me, but sometimes a piece of fruit just doesn't cut it. I still watch the sodium content carefully.
