Put one foot in front of the other n soon I'll be walking out the door. Do the best you can. Never give up. Any day above ground is a good day.

The analogy that I would use for someone living heart disease......
You either get busy living or get busy dying.
I know that it will sound harsh to some people, but you know what. If you don't want to know my opinion, then don't ask me for it.
I have survived 5 heart attacks, I have 10 cardiac stents placed in my heart, I loss 1/3rd of my heart muscle after my 3rd heart attack while playing racquetball for 2 hours straight and this is just for starters with the other health issues that I have. I recently had to deal with Septic Shock, which the only thing that kept me alive was God and my beat-up heart was in A-fib. All my other organs were shutting down.
So, I am here to tell you, if you believe in a higher power, then go there. If you need professional help such as counseling....do it. Got to much to live for and I have my down days too. Keep your head up and just kick ass, and to heck with taking names.......'nuff said.

It's a little like you've been exercising hard and then you stop. You have trouble getting your breath and have to sit down and rest. With heart disease you always feel like you've been exercising even though you haven't, but you still have to rest a bit before moving on again. Capiche?

I live one day at a time. Try not to dwell on it. Lack of energy is frustrating but I do some and rest. Then do some more. Today I out done my normal routine surpringly . Most have no clue . But I have finally got them to understand I can't do what I use too. So now they really don't give me a hard time . Luckily I am not short of breath. I have CAD . I can still climb stairs . Just live the best life you can . I don't dwell on everything I eat . Lots of fruits and veggies. Sometimes that special treat. I feel like I'm lucky to be here . And I'm going to live life . Went to the Ala vs LSU game for 2 days . Now I'm exhausted . But I had a good time getting out of this house. I live alone so Noone to make me feel bad when I have bad days. Anxiety is my worst enemy . But I got meds which helps alot . Just put one foot in front of the other and keep pumping. Prayers for all of us. There is light at the end of the tunnel.

Stay positive hugs and more hugs . Oh yeah my friend has lived with heart issues yrs. He started in his 50s and is now close to 70 .
