I am also not tired. Was told by doc that drug to keep me in rythm..?? Which I have not been at all makes me tired. Also beta blocker slows everything in you body down. Plus on blood thinner . Water pills. Don't know if this is true.?????I am hoping I will be better than ever this time next year..without meds. Just try do what you can. Rest when you need to. Think positively. I was told I would never walk again twice. I walked out next day. Bought crutches at a. Yard sale. Both times I was walking great in weeks.

Your welcome DianaWilliams, IF you hate any medications for Blood pressure or blood thinners (pretty much any of them for anything to do with your heart it can increase this feeling too!! nothing about this stuff is Normal, its often a "new" normal for us all try talking with your doctor(s) they might suggest things you might be able to try to help you over come the feelings such as vitamins or Taking the medications in the evening rather the the AM etc they might suggest changes in your diet to help you over come the feelings or give you ideas of things you might change or substitute, to reduce these run down feelings each of us has similar problems maybe different answers to get over or past them ... good luck

if your heart beats 60 times a minute which is typical for an healthy adult Male Females a bit higher ... think about it 60 per minute x 60 is 3600 times in an hour x 24 hours in a day 86400 x (Phone number can only be seen by the question and answer creators) times 80 years = 25,228,800 just as a quick example now without Bad choices of all types and genetic issues its an amazing miracle that that thing works at all When ONE Flap on one of the valves has a little stenosis (hardening) along the flap of the valve that SLOW's it down the entire function of the hearts 4 chambers can get out of wack and if less blood makes it into the lungs to get oxygen then the blood being recycled to the heart to be stepped up and pumped to all the cells in the body MIGHT be less volume so the Lack of oxygen to the lower farther away cells ( the feet and legs) dont get the oxygen they should so the brain trys to make the heart Pump more faster so the rate jumps up high this may work or might not work it could work for a while it can cause arrythmias it can also cause Heart Failure or congestive heart failure as it was called traditionally, CHF or HF happens when the circulation process gets out of wack as I said part of the process is when the oxygen is dropped off at each cell, the cell "takes" the trash out when it leaves and the products of the cell burning off the oxygen leaves waste which is filtered when the blood goes through the kidneys so if the system gets out of wack its not long before the who process gets out of wack the waste "water" can back up in the system and beginning at the lowest (feet) will over time work its way up The doctor will typically have you on a diuretic (makes you urinate) naturally no one wants to have to take a pill that makes you run to the bathroom constantly in reality after a couple days that settles down quite a bit to some normality there are stages of HF or chf and the stages can actually last a lifetime its the Inefficient way, often that your heart Might be working or Might be caused by the medications your needed to take it would be best to "talk" to your doctor and get some real answers from him or her

I know what you are talking about but I just say to myself " keep it moving" and make all efforts
I can to do just that. Rest a minute, get back up, rest a minute and keep getting back up. That is the
only thing I can do. I will never have those days when I was running all day and wasn't tired. I have no
choice but to " keep it moving at a slower rate.
Be well and take care of yourself!
