After Ablation In January And CHF With Preserved EF Diagnosis In July, I Have Constant Chest Pressure And Slight SOB. Is This Normal?
A MyHeartDiseaseTeam Member asked a question 💭

Ablation was for Afib and things didn’t quite seem right afterwards. CHF was diagnosed at the end of July and have had constant chest pressure since being put on all kinds of meds. In fact, the chest pressure is worse since I was put on all the meds. Guess I’m wondering if things will keep getting worse or if I can expect some relief from the uncomfortable pressure in my chest.

I had the cath done. I have three blockages on the left side. One is 60% and two are 50%. He refused to do stents. Said I had to be a 70% blockage. I have CAD AFib And Preserves EF and Unstable Angina. Constant pressure and pain. I’m getting a second opinion on surgery

Investigate each medication that you're taking to make sure that they aren't working against one another. I have found by personal experience that this can happen. Also check with your cardiologist to see when the best time to take your meds. I was taking certain meds in the morning and my cardiologist changed them from morning to evening as I was feeling tired and sluggish, now not so much due to the time frame change.
