Get off the Amioderone as soon as possible. Side effects are horrific.

Amiodarone is very toxic and should be prescribed for life threatening arrhythmias..
I felt sick on it, made me dizzy for weeks.. i have decreased lung function and my eyesight got worse along with skin issues.
I have been on and off of it 3 times.. i already had a defibrillator and after getting shocked 3 times in 6 months, I didn’t care what I took.. i did tell the Dr I wanted to be off of it. I ended up with an ablation then a CRTD . Started having issues again.. i had another ablation for VT which it has helped but they were unable to get the area of PVCs.. the Dr said it would be to dangerous to get into that area.. so here I am on Mexilitine ( anti arrhythmic), can’t really take anything else due to other cardiovascular issues..
I do alot of praying!

I have to take it because it will help my heart from not going up. 2020 into 2021 my heart rate went up a few times to 200 beats per minute and i got shocked a few times. Now no episodes for almost 2 years

I took Amiodorone about 3 years ago for a very short time (about 2 weeks). I coudn't handle the side effects and I was dizzy all of the time. I was given Sotolol instead and have not had any bad side effects from it.
