I take both a blood thinner and a baby aspirin.
I am so confused with my research. Most of my readings suggest AFIB will not kill you. However strokes (more likely than not) will kill you. Many cardiologists said I would die within 3 years without the pills. I took them for three days and ended up in emerg. and refused to take pills at all. I take suppliments instead. Am I better off??? Dont know. Do I feel well...absolutely! But is it the suppliements? diet? exercise that is really helping? Three years later, I am feeling tired now… read more

With Afib and trying to lower my cholesterol, and taking thinner, and bp meds wondering if since it helps to expand the blood flow, would this help in increasing chances of a blood clot moving or creating a blockage elsewhere?

I’m on 2.5 mg which is probably considered a low dose. It is very expensive and I will have to be on it at least 3 months after Watchman implant but then I’ll be completely done with it, thankfully
