Your choice. You and only you can make it, but remember your family deals with what happens in the end. Id give anything to have ny dad back and to convince him to do differntly, the loss is to unbearable at times.

I too was offered a transplant. I also declined. I have lived a very busy and fulfilled life. There are so few hearts that come available for transplant. I believe that what does come up should be given to someone much younger than myself. There is still a lifetime in front of one younger than myself during which they will have time to give back. I will continue to take my meds and follow my doctor's advice in order to live this life as long and as fully as God wishes. Anyway, those are my thoughts about that.

Just remember God own that body your in he has control so i dont think it matters ,My self Im ready.

I think it is your choice, whatever you think is best for you and your family. I was told if my HF starts to get worse I my need a LVAD, I don't know what I will decide, I may decline. Let God be a part of our choice.
