I had the Medtronic device inserted in June,2018. . I’ve only had two incidents and alerted each time. My IF was 25 and now up to 50%. One thing of note: if you have an MRI you must let them know. They will slow the device down and back up after the exam. Best luck. x

I did not have an irregular heart beat perhaps that's the difference . I wish you luck and I'll be praying for you..

I had to have an ICD after a heart artery incident that plunged my EF to 15-20%, and 20-25 after being on Entresto for about 4 months. I kept denying the ICD and my Cardiologist said in order to prevent a dangerous irregular heart beat (VT) I really needed an ICD, I had one placed in August 2020, It was not as bad as I expected, It has not shocked me yet; I Pray it don't. I'm still on Entresto and on last echo in May, my EF was 25-30% but not because of the ICD, for mine was just for protection. I cont. to Pray for increase of my EF. I try hard to do my change of lifestyle and exercise. I hope things look up for you. Take Care.
