My husband is still coughing a lot, and I know this is part of his diagnosis of CHF, does it go on for a long time? He gets tired of coughing and I can't blame him. Any advice to make him understand this is part of his new normal. Thanks everyone
Same here AmyJean they changed my med also and that was the end of that. Also tho Is Coughing Normal with CHF there is coughing and it can be pretty rough but really you need to notify your doctor they are the ones that can help him.
It may be a side effect of one of his blood pressure medications..I had that also and changed my medicine and haven't had it since. I also suffe from CHF...
Lysinopril makes you cough, avoid it I like losartan.
