Blood Pressure Rising, Even With Taking 120mg Isosorb A Day
A MyHeartDiseaseTeam Member asked a question 💭

I take 120 mg isosorb a day which usually keeps my blood pressure real low, but the last couple weeks my blood pressure has gone up. Usually about 97/58, now 148/99 and higher. My cardiologist does not seem worried. Two years ago I had a 50 percent blockage, he wants to wait til February to do stress test. Should I be worried?

I agree that your "normal" BP is a bit low but not dangerous yet. If it gets down to 70/49 or below get your cardiologist on the phone or go to the ER!! That's what saved my life, I passed out hit my eyelid 8 sticthes and eventually after my cardiologist tried adjusting my BP meds for a week he strongly recommended a pacemaker/dephib implanted. Glad I did it save me again when my heart rate went from 70 BPM to 253 BPM in a couple minutes..
