Has anyone tried keto. when I was on it my cholesterol went down my hemoglobin A1C went down and I lost 45 lbs but according to all of you that isn't a good diet. So confused. That diet also had a dieretic effect so you don't have to watch salt as you lose it on that diet. I had a stroke however because I was trying to go natural and refused to take blood thinners but, I have atrial fib and the only treatment for it out there is blood thinners. I'm taking xarelto now. My Doctor said the reason had a stroke had nothing to do with my natural stuff but was because I wouldn't take the blood thinner.. I refuse coumadin although it is much much much cheaper because I am a retired LPN and I saw too many complications from that drug.

I was told I needed to take it the rest of my life as I have had a billateral stroke caused by my atrial fib so I am really fortunate to be walking around.

Oh my I am doing ok in spite of a whole list of health problems. Drinking more water and trying to eat healthier. Joined a gym with my best friend. I am currently at my son's house visiting my grand kids but, when I get home I will be going to the gym. I can't do the treadmill due to stroke side effects but I can do some of the other machines. Still walking with a cane.

I Love salads I am on coumadin so I can't eat alot of greens I had a heart attack I am trying to stay away from salt have heart failure I am trying to eat more healthy
