Chemical Stress Test.
A MyHeartDiseaseTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hello Heart team. I had another chemical stress for indigestion symptoms, the test says scars from a previous MI (sudden coronary dissection) that had in 2019, it also says without appreciable Ischemia. I'm thinking no blockage., I have a follow up soon, a cardiologist was there but not doing testing, vso if it was very bad, he would have visited them. My question is does anyone have scarring from previous MI (attack) that is large scarring? I read sometimes scarring can have negative effects on… read more

STILL VERY TIRED AFTER 2 WEEKS
A MyHeartDiseaseTeam Member asked a question 💭

I had a heart attack 2 weeks ago, and had 4 stents put in. I am schedule for multi bypass surgery in September. They told me that I should start to slowly walk after 2 weeks since the heart attack, but I just don't have the wind or the energy to walk. All I do is sleep. I'm 64 years old, and prior to the heart attack I had more energy than this. Is it normal for me to be so very tired after 2 complete weeks of total rest and sleep?
Thank you.

Can Having Multiple Shocks From Defibrillator Affect A Person's Memory Or Concentration After A Heart Attack?
A MyHeartDiseaseTeam Member asked a question 💭

During my heart attack, my heart stopped nine times. A defibrillator was used each time to get it started again. I'm close to five months from the time of my heart attack. I find I sometimes I have a hard time concentrating, can't quite find the words I'm looking for, and I'm forgetful. I'm wondering if the shocks may be the cause of this, if so, is it temporary? If it's not the cause...I have some more searching to do.

A MyHeartDiseaseTeam Member

I know this may sound outrageous, but on May 18th 2013, i had my defibrillator fire off 22 times within 1 1/2 hours! I had to be air lifted to the nearest hospital that had the equipment to turn it… read more
