The whole wrist is black and blue. Still some swelling. I have a small knot at the site where they inserted the catheter.

I would get to a nurse practitioner or a natural path doc. They are much better at comforts and recoveries than docs. Just my opinion of course.

It takes a couple of weeks for incissions to heal you ar not suppose to put arms over head for 2weeks and don't get wet when you take a shower until healed completely

I did not have any pain where they did heart Cath in wrist.i had more black and blue where they put ins in and took blood from where they took blood for a week.

The small knot is normal after a cath. This will go away in the next month or so. As long as there is no redness or drainage.
