Do Other People Have Problems With Low Blood Pressure, Dizziness At Times And Trouble Keeping Your Potassium Levels High Enough?
A MyHeartDiseaseTeam Member asked a question 💭

My blood pressure is low most days, low 90 to Mid 80's my meds make it hard to keep a good level of potassium, I try to eat right but end up feeling frustrated having to cook for just me. I end up snacking I know thats not good! How to cope??!

I like Healthy Choice Frozen Dinners. However, when budget gets tight, I buy Banquet for about a dollar on sale. The calories are as low as diet meals and there is a good variety. Yes, you can buy potassium at pharmacies OTC and even Dollar Tree has them for a dollar and they have women's vitamins for a dollar, too. I know you miss your kitty as much as I miss mine. Cannot afford another one. Having a pet is a luxury these days. Happy weekend, Aleecia.

Hi Friend, I had that show-up when I went for surgery one time. They jumpstarted it with a potassium I V. After that I have had no low levels. I, too, cook for one and rely mainly on frozen food. Just took a nutrition class and discovered it is better than fresh, because it is flash-frozen right at the source instead of being transported for days. Also, I cook chicken and rice, things of that sort and freeze it. Also, I save a serving or two of whatever I eat and freeze that to have a variety later. My thing is paying for meds and having an extremely tight budget without a cent to spare or enjoy on retirement income in a one-person with all expenses household. Love your Kitty Cat...looks like my Stardust I had a few years ago.

I fell and landed in the hospital having a dizzy spell and tripping on the sidewalk, they said my potassium levels were seriously low, I was trying to a cleanse consume tons of water not a good idea. But I deal with low potassium take magnesium everyday. I not be in hospital for another week thank you please, except for the guy who brought in breakfast every morning, he was so cute and such a greeter he would smile at me, I never forget him. And really nurses they don't get enough. They are amazing Nurses.
