I still live by "everything I want in moderation". I cook healthy overall and use olive oil or coconut oil when needed. Real butter and not alot of red meat.. A glass of wine once in a while. Healing thoughts to all

I eat very little carbs, they raise blood sugar and are not good for your arteries, build my diet around protein and fats .

Olive oil breaks down easily in heat, loses the value. Coconut oil tolerates cooking much better. So I cook with that but use my healthy olive oil over already cooked foods.

Born and raised on a dairy farm. Made out own butter and I still use butter, real live butter no salt. Olive Oil taste horrible to me since I have no saliva and that taste doesn't go away sticks to my inside of my mouth...gross. its not so much what you use but how much you use...Which is the case with most foods.. Seldom fry foods other then Dippin eggs, Fried Green Tomatoes. Squash or potatoes once in awhile.

Hmm? Interesting as I’ve been told by the specialists every meal should contain protein, fat and carbohydrates. Good fat of course
