No. Unfortunately the EKG and ECG are just 2 different ways to check on the heart vessel itself. How well it functions or "pumps". These tests can show an active heart attack happening or if there has been previous activity/ heart attack from before. Sometimes we can have small heart attacks without knowing it. In order for your cardiologist to see if there is possible blockage in an artery, they will order a stress test. These are either chemical/iv or they will have u walk on treadmill and increase as you walk to see how much stress your heart is going thru. End result the best informative test is the angiogram! They can go in and look right at your arteries and your heart pumping in action!!! Sounds much more invasive than it is.

Found my blocked arteries with an angiogram where they pump a dye in your arteries around your body & into your heart, found 3 blocked & calcified aorta valve that had to be replaced . When they operated they also found an ulcer in my artery which did not show up on the angiogram which they had to cut out and replace with bovine tissue . Lucky to be alive & now hopefully make a full recovery . Somebody must be looking over me & thanks to the skills of the cardiology team who were marvellous and the after care team who are wonderful πŸ‘ β™₯️
