My family history is aweful. I had nuclear treadmill. Didnt shw any blockages. Had ecocardigram....bad valve, had tee test , catherization 3 blockages. Tread test doesnt show everything..... is what I was told.. who knew ???
I am on my 3rd statin, Crestor. My LDL was way out of whack. My cholesterol was at 383 when I had the widowmaker. I had 5 bypasses on that one. By the time I had the 4th heart attack in 2002 (which resulted in 4 more bypasses) my cholesterol was lower but still too high. Finally in 2004 I changed cardiologists and he advised me that we have to get more agressive as he saw that my cholesterol ratio was still too high. Since all of that I've had a total of 7 heart attacks and also added 8 stents but now my total cholesterol is less than 100. Better late than never eh? I hope the new meds work for you. Just don't give up on all the other things you're doing as well.
Crestor worked for me because it helped raise my HDL from 6 to 35 which really made a difference in my ratio.
I have factor 5 clotting disorder, cant cross legs or sit in different positions, maybe you have something on that order,Hope you get it figured out!have a great day.
In the palm of his hand
I don't know anything about this order, but I am glad that you will have a stress test. I have been doing a lot of reading lately and in this article it says that sugar is our worst enemy and especially with collestrol. Check your sugar intake.
Wishing uou all the best. Be positive someone needs to have an answer.
God bless you and keep you in the pa
