worried till i have my appointment what do they usually do for irregular heart beat im thinking stopping and starting heart but dont know
Trava, ask your cardiologist if you might be a candidate for one of the two new pcks9 cholesterol lowering drugs that are not statins: Repatha or Praluent. They are not statins and are known to effectively drive down cholesterol and lipids.
@A MyHeartDiseaseTeam Member I have had (and still have) irregular arrythmia (Atrial Fib) for years. It doesn't seem to bother me and I am told that something like 60% of the population has it. Unless it has a dire effect on you, can you just live with it? I get no treatment for it. One doctor I know cured her atrial fib with vitamins: CoQ10 (Ubiquinol), Magnesium, Glucosamine Sulfate, Vitamin D, fish oil. These are all excellent for heart issues. She took intense doses, and I don't have her formula, but I plan to get it. SHe is a cardiac surgeon and knows her stuff. worth trying.
I do the Repatha Injections every 2 weeks -amazing results for me.
Thank you Freelander! Very helpful!
I'd sure like more information about statin use. I'm reading online and not getting a favorable feeling.
