Has your heart failure improved? I do not have CAD. I have dystolic dysfunction.

Andrew, you have to be your own advocate. Some of these Big Pharma drugs have worse side effect than heart disease. I have 6 stents! and angio, done by a gifted surgeon. Five days later, every day was like Christmas. ALL symptoms of CAD (congenital, live like a nun) gone. I refused statins. No way. I'm doing weights, rowing machine, walked Aussie just today. Got a new book deal and last one a best seller status a few months after the PCI. I don't like the over testing. You have to be careful. After a heart attack, nurses said I would die in two days if I didn't have open-heart surgery. Uh, that was June and I'm like normal. A handful of heart meds that work for me, my lifestyle has always been good but strict Mediterranean diet and daily exercise. Again, genes got me at 70. Nobody knew. Blood work is important...did have an echo. But I will never do statins again. Ever.

I hope so. It really helped my kindey function. Low blood pressure has been a problem
