I have been on plavix for 3 years, I sometimes want off of them, at one point I was on plavix and an aspirin a day. The aspirin caused stomach problems, so now on just plavix. One NP said Plavix was like a strong aspirin as far as a blood thinner, I don't know if that is true or anyone else was told that.

I’m on both 81 mg aspirin & 75 mg plavix and 3 other RX. So far I’ve been able to tolerate all of it. I’m just starting to feel more like my old self and I’m not wanting to change meds. I see cardiologist on 20th, guess we’ll see what he says.
Thanks for responding.
