I found that limiting salt and fats from my diet helped a lot.
I find that having a clove of raw garlic a day chewing it up with a sandwich helped my blood and me feel better
Had an abnormal nuclear stress test. Could be looking at angiogram. Has anyone had one? What was it like? How long was hospitalization and recuperation?

Has anyone been prescribed Amiodarone for afib? When in hospital for 3 months , it was prescribed as I guess I had serious case. They lowered the dose from 400mg to 200mg when I came home. On a cardiologist phone visit my dr said I don’t have afib (it’s the kind that comes and goes). So why am I on Med for afib? Looked up Amiodarone and it is very toxic and I have ten of the numerous side effects! It is a very long time (weeks and months) to get out of the system. Anyone have it and how… read more
I was on it until I collapsed at home and 911 had to come. I was respiratory failure and heart failure. I was told toxicity due to amiodarone caused my condition. I was taken off of it immediately.
I would be more concerned with How many within close proximity time wise.. The 1st thing even before that is Making sure your able to recover post cath for a long enough period… read more

I've been on Entresto, Carvedilol, Furosemide, and Potassium since I was diagnosed with HF with and ejection fraction of 27 in 2021. I had an echo in August and my EF was 51, so I've been managing it well. I have also had severe pain in my left hip from bone on bone arthritis so I can't really walk much right now.
