Have you thought about going to a dietitian or going to weight watchers or similar group? I have a weight problem & also serious heart problems……I have lost over 80 Lbs by the Grace of God. My heart acts alot happier with the weight loss. Be good to your heart……it needs your help to remain stable. Once irreversible damage has been done by not careing for your heart…..your problems will be a lot bigger. Good luck

It is hard. For me, what I wanted made me choose it or my health. Each moment is a gift, the present. I decided I wanted all my moments. I asked for referral to a nutritionist specializing in CHD. I also got a list of food from her and searched for food recipes using the foods only on the list. I looked at the library with old cookbooks with forgtten flavor combinations and decoration. Fun. Good looking food that is edible in small amounts that does no harm helps. I put several small servings on a plate to make a meal. I like diversity. I no longer eat a 12 inch plate full of food. I dont eat anything labeled artifical or natural unamed flavors. If I dont know what is in the food, I dont eat it. My dental bill went down. Food that can make you sick does not help teeth. It could be a coincidence. Teeth and gum problems did affect my health. I took care of that before my condition gets too risky to do anything with my teeth. I lower stress with prayer, socializing with positive people, and exercise the physical therapist says I can do, breathing clean air

It took 1 year to get disability. I guess they were convinced that this was a permanent condition and that I was at a level that could not work. The doctors diagnosis was clear. I never like filling out forms. I got a book on language and read the instructions very carefully twice and had a educated friend proofread all of it, then I did a 2nd proofread. For some people who are not comfortable with this, some places have public social workers at a community center or place with organized activities open to the public. Once a year I proofread my medical and financial reports. I got free time.

Video phone helps stay connected and see who I am talking to. I hope all of you have a day stuffing good things in each of your moments.
