How are scars looking after procedure? How does anyone get skin look better after healing?
Hello Rose.
I had a quintuple bypass 4 years ago and I believe I used vitamin E as well. It may help in healing faster but I'm not sure about scar appearance. My scar isn't that obvious. Then again chest hair will hide it 😉. I'w well aware women are typically more concerned about their appearance than men. If someone finds your scar unappealing and judges you by it, then they're not worth your attention. Wear your scar as a badge of pride for what you've had to endure.
Rose, what Brent said. Men display scars as badges of validation, signatures of battle, badges of honor? I love shorts to "display" my knee surgeries, sleeveless shirts to "display" my shoulder surgery and can't figure out how to "display" my 9 inch scar on my lower back but I can describe and "display" upon request? I know this is not much help but men are just different about these things? 😎
I think scars are definitely different for men than it is for women. I had a quad bypass and then a sternotomy. So I have a large scar on my chest, one the length of my left lower arm and one the length of my right lower leg. They are war wounds, I will just keep them the way they are. Have you tried the attached, my wife used it for her surgical scars and it worked well.
Vitamin e oil daily. No change yet.
We gonna be alright. Trust me.
