Catheterization
A MyHeartDiseaseTeam Member asked a question 💭

Has anybody ever had a catheterization in which they tested for the RFF (fractional flow reserve) ?

Well , neither did I until yesterday . I researched this on Wikipedia a little while ago . They insert a wire into the artery , and test the pressure before the restricted spot , and then after the spot , to get a more accurate result of the % of blockage , to help determine the proper course of treatment . In my particular case ; It will help determine if I stay on the medicines that I am taking , or opt for bypass surgery .
