If you have been to the Cleveland Clinic did you like it?
@A MyHeartDiseaseTeam Member: I apologize for responding so late after your posting. I have been to the Cleveland Clinic several times, well, make that heaps of times. I have had three open heart surgeries (2 quadruples followed by a quintuple). That last two were performed at the Cleveland Clinic. I have had angiograms and angioplasties there, as well as two cardiac ablations. I am currently on the National list for a heart transplant, which will be preformed at the Cleveland Clinic. I was very surprised, with the place being so big and busy, that I was treated like a person, like an individual, as opposed to simply being a "number" or a "room/bed". I was very pleased with my pre-care, during-care (if that is such a word), and post care. Several of the doctors recognize me, even though they must see tons of people over the years. They stop and greet me and sincerely ask how I am doing. Nurses and staff are the same way. I highly recommend it, in fact, I cannot recommend it highly enough! I hope this helps you. ~ Ken
I haven’t been there myself , but a good friend of mine had his heart transplant there about 18 years ago. They have been with him every step of the way.
Thanks
I only go to the eye doctor at Cleveland Clinic. I go to University Hospital for everything else for years & I love it.
