My cardiologist has limited my water to 64 ounces a day. Including anything that is liquid when warm like a popsicle. She also said to call her if I gain more than 3 pounds in a day or 5 in a week. She increased my water pill for 3 days and ordered blood work for next week.

What do you do for your kidney failure? I can gain 4 lbs overnight. Is it from retaining a lot of water? Should I drink more or less water?
