I have a pacemaker, not defibrillator. I found a wonderful web site called Pacemaker club. They can help so much! They keep me sane in times a fear. Hope to see you there.

I have one too. I can do almost anything I use to. The only thing my cardiologist doesn’t want me to do is climb up on a ladder.i did it one day without thinking and the room started spinning, but other then that no problems. I’ve had mine 3 years next month.

I have a defibrillator and I have never had any problem. A lot of relief knowing I have it in case of a heart attack which I never had. The defibrillator was put in because My heart was only working in 2014 10% that is why the defibrillator was put in

I would check with your Dr. I know for a while I couldn’t lift anything over 5 lbs .. I couldn’t go up ladders and still to this day my head spins if I try to go on one. It’s been 3 years since I’ve mine in. With me it was like a new life. I can do everything I use to do, sometimes just not as much. Listen to your body . It will let you know when it’s had enough. Don’t push your body to hard, it needs time to heal.
