My daughter was diagnosed with Dilated Cardiomyopathy at a few weeks old.

She was one of the lucky ones to have been diagnosed at an early age and now at 25 years old, it has stabilised well.However she has been on a medication called Captopril and also Lisinopril from the start and has always suffered from some horrendous bouts of coughing whether or not she is suffering from a cold.(probably worse when she has a cold)

My sister took lisinopril and it close her throat up, it will have you coughing a lot look up the medication and you will see the side effects
