Ive Had My ICD For 8 Years And Replacemt Should Be Soon... Would You?
A MyHeartDiseaseTeam Member asked a question 💭

I always thought once was enough and still do if I had to face it alone and the way I did last time... I wouldnt make it through a month without out. Holla to the Southe African peeps! Only one EP in SA worth seeing, every other cried “misdiagnosis” with marching orders until my ICD interrogation would come back.

Thats when the docs get really nasty for making a fools of themselves and find beastly ways to take it out on you!

Whats the second time rounf like? Do I too get a god complex?

I had mine replaced last year after having it for 10 years. The replacement surgery was so simple. Same day in and out. Area was numb for about 18 hours. What little pain I had was handled by regular Tylenol. Will do it again in another 10 years.
