I'm with Alex. Worry doesn't accomplish anything except make you sick & miserable. I enjoy my life in may different ways, rest when I have to & have confidence in my Dr. Life is good -- worrying & misery are not living the life that God gave you.

@A MyHeartDiseaseTeam Member,
I don’t know what the chances are Debra and being honest I don’t think about it too much, just try to enjoy every day but obviously I have good and bad ones but try not to worry too much.
Keep well 😉

I don't worry about the medicines I am on for my heart failure. But I start asking questions when my doctor prescribes something for a problem other than my heart failure! Luckily, I've got a GREAT (all caps for emphasis) doc who has a complete understanding of my medical woes and he sits there calmly and answers all of them!

sometimes non-heart medicines are prescribed because they might affect the heart -- even though they aren't actually a true heart med. It's good to ask Dr. for explanations, For example -- although this isn't about my heart problems -- I was found to be deficient in magnesium, even though my diet is excellent. However, I take Dexilent for severe acid reflux; -- but Dexilent can (in some people) block magnesium. Ergo -- daily magnesium supplement is now necessary
